Festival Internacional de Música Clásica de Ribadeo
info

Welcome to the official web page of the Festival Internacional de Música Clásica de Ribadeo! We hope you enjoy your visit and that you find the information you are looking for.
The FIMCR’s goal is to bring classical music closer to the people through a series of concert-talks in which a very attractive and varied repertory is performed. To give audiences the chance to become more familiar with the repertoire, the musicians talk about the works they are about to perform. This helps the audience to better understand, appreciate and enjoy the compositions. The artists who participate in the FIMCR come from different parts of the world, and are always of great quality. The FIMCR is possible thanks to the sponsorship of Fundación Caixa Galicia and to the excellent welcoming from the City of Ribadeo.
The EoClásica Association presents the fifth season of the FIMCR, which will take place at the Ribadeo Concert Hall from August 16th to August 20th, 2010. There will be five concert-talks in five consecutive nights. The FIMCR 2010 guest artists are: Jasmin Arakawa, Japanese pianist; James Campbell, Canadian clarinetist; Leopoldo Erice, Spanish pianist; Alejandro Friedhoff, Spanish cellist; Frederieke Saeijs, Dutch violinist, and JennyRebecca Winans, American soprano. The concert programs will be very varied, as each artist will perform every night. There will be works for solo instrument as well as instrumental and vocal chamber music. Please, see below to obtain detailed information about the schedule of events, artists’ biographies, and ticket sales.
Thank you for your visit. We are looking forward to seeing you in Ribadeo!
Sincerely,
EoClásica Association.
